Prof. Marian Ekart

Professor Marion Eckert, is the Professor of Health Innovation and Enterprise. She is also the Inaugural Professor of Cancer Nursing in South Australia, Inaugural Director, Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre and Adjunct Professor College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS), Flinders University. Prof Eckert is a pioneer in clinical and research growth, development, and the spread of health care innovations that have significantly improved outcomes for the community and the nursing and midwifery professions. She is a disruptor focused on positive forces for change to the status quo, given that approximately 40% of health care delivery is not evidence based, and considered either waste or harmful, she is dedicated to moving that dial to fostering evidence informed health care that supports metropolitan, regional and rural communities locally and globally. She is committed to ensuring people receive the best care possible through evidence informed care.
